yay! I'm really excited...

So I was contacted by a program to sponser kids for x-mas today. I thought about if for a whiel and I decided that I was going too. I picked a family of mostly teens. A 17, 15, 13, and 11yo. I think I'm going to buy them stock or send over stock and stuff, and maybe I have soem stuff around here that I've never used or rarely used that I can send. I love this kinda stuff... besides the warm fuzzies I get to know that I'm spreading the word about eco stuff too. Besides maybe I'll make new friends. If anyone wants to toss in donations of clothes or money or anything let me know. I am planign on givning at least two gifts probably an item of clothing and somethign fun, but it would be so rad if I could send them a whole heap of stuff. Especially because they are one of the last families to be adopted. I think because they aren't cute and cuddly and 5yo. But Now are the x-mases they will remember for their whole lives. I mean how many of us really remember our fifth x-mas. But what did youg get for you 16th... anyway...

I filled out holiday cards today. Well a few anyway. I decided to sent one to the founder of the Montessori school I went too. She taught me so much and I'm so glad I got the opertunity to learn in her school. I can't imagine what my life would be like if it wasn't for her. But the funny thing is... that I can't remember exactly how to spell her name, and OMG would that be embarrassing to send her a card with her name spelled wrong! U'RE sooch thee gratst techer ... lol

My dad poped out of town this weekend. He's in NY now. I'm worried his flight is going to be delayed.. sadness...

Oh finals are next week... I plan to spend all weekend cramming for econ and trying to teach myself calc. I got the final project turned in today. I hope we do well on it. we ended up submitting my answers... Crazy how freaked I was over it and apparently everyone else was even more so then me... But also I had a very cool Mark help me with it.

I'm ticked off about my car... they said they fixed it so I had soemone carry me down to pick it up. I didn't even get home before it started shaking and freaking out on me again, and then the damn engine light came on yet again!

Same thing happened with my vac... I finally cleaned up enough around here to use it, and it still doesn't work... well it's sorta picking some stuff up but nothing ends up in the little canister thing... so it's clogging somwheres. I ahve to take it back tomorrow and tell them they have to fix it.

I have to go by two banks tomorrow
I have to go by the post office
I have to call about my car
I have to get my vac fixed

hmmm busy day...
