Anti-Organic Professor

transpaoI'm bothered about something. I've changed my major to horticulture. I still think it could be something really great for me. The problem is that in the very first class I went to the Professor went on a 30 minute tirade about how ORGANIC was NOT a "Best management practice," and how organic fertilizers burn plants, spread bacteria, and leach MORE nitrogen runoff.
She even went further to say that there was no way in hell she would buy organic in the stores... blah blah blah...
Other than that she was nice and class was okay. I already knew most of the info spoken about in class, but I'll still have to work on a lot of memorizing for plants and stuff.
I really don't want to back out but this has me worried. I was pretty good and kept my mouth shut to avoid the enemy prof problem I had last spring. Oh and an important thing to note is she is the ONLY horticulture prof. in the school so pretty much all of my classes for the next year will be with her.
PS. Vegas Sucked please don't ask.
