Okay well I just dropped off the puppy. (Yes I know that he's a senior citizen but he is my eternal puppy)

I got some good news. The tumor is really what they call a granulose pseudo-tumor caused by an infection in the mouth... NOT CANCER! They are going to take the growth off and clean and polish his teeth. The doc said the growth could come back but it's not cancer.

The only thing there is to still worry about is that he said the puppers does have a very obvious heart murmur, and that makes anesthetizing him more risky. The doc said they would take precautions to minimize the risk, but that I need to be aware that it is possible he won’t wake up.

But hopefully this will all be over a 4-5pm when they call and tell me to come pick up my happy puppy with clean teeths.
