My thoughts of late have had a strange quality. Romantic, nostalgic, chemical.
Almost a poetic feeling, I have not been thus influenced in some time. A change in Muse?

It dawns on me this evening... Way do the words awesome and awful have opposite meaning and connotation?

I have an intense migraine. While the loneliness of my bed adds to the annoyance of being ill, the glare of the computer screen is no comfort. I pray for sleep soon.

At times like these, I find it best to lookk at etymologies:

Awe gets used very strangely.

yeah. I guess and I suppose it makes more since when I think that awesome has only been used in the way I think of it since 1980, but it still doesn't really tell me WHY the jump. I mean most of the uses throughout history have been the reverse.

Though I suppose that was a trend in the 1980's. bad=good wicked= really good. Cool taking on a whole new concept.
