I forgot to change my voter registration to this county and my address! I'd drive over to the old poll but I don't have anything that says I live there anymore, because I had to renew my license. blast it!

Does anyone know if they require proof of address? I thought they just looked you up in the big book. But several people said it has changed!

They just looked at my card, and my info, on the computer, and sent me through. Try it, and explain what happened, if it gets weird.

this is what I found on the Georgia website FAQs.
Voters are required to notify the board of registrars of their county of residence whenever they move.
If you move within the same county in which you are registered to vote and don't notify the registrar at least 30 days prior to an election, you may vote in your old polling place for that election. You must file a notice of your new address. This can be done by writing your county registrar’s office, or by submitting a new voter registration application.
If you move outside the county in which you are registered to vote within 30 days of an election, you may vote in your old precinct for that election.
If you move outside the county in which you are registered to vote in excess of 30 days prior to an election, you have lost your eligibility to vote in the county of your old residence. You must register to vote in your new county of residence. If you don't register to vote by the deadline, you cannot vote in that particular election.

My question is how would they know when I moved. The only thing is that my drivers license issue date is 1-4-2008 just over 30 days ago. arg!

I walked into my polling place today and told them I'd moved. They just had me fill out a change of address form, show some ID, and I got to vote there anyway.

I went to the GA Secretary of State website and plugged in my info. It spit out a polling place based on my old address. When I went to that polling place, they saw on my license that I had moved, then had me fill out the form to change my registration, but let me vote anyway.

I didn't cross county lines, though. Still in Cobb.

I drove over there and they let me vote. I suppose it's not as big a deal because we weren't voting on any local/county stuff just presidential. It's also probable that the poll workers don't actually know the regulations. I've worked the polls before and they give you a 3 hour class about it but it's mostly just showing you how to work the equipment.
