What can I say, or do?

Now before I go on I want to state that I've been really annoyed about all the "school shooting" media since way back at Columbine. Besides the fact that the media put everyone in that school in danger, I found it flagrantly classist. I mean they may not be mass shootings, but school shootings have been happening for years in inner city schools, but it's only news worthy when it hits a suburban majority white school... end this rant though so I can start a new one>
We are doing something wrong. I'm not really sure what it is, but the evidence is in front of us. Maybe it is all the violence on TV. Maybe it is that the most popular video games are the ones where you can shoot everyone including the children and innocent by standers. Maybe it's that we all feel utterly hopeless and lost. Maybe it's that we've moved so far away from natuarl ape behavior. I don't know and I don't claim to know.
But I know that this trend... and it's become a trend we've had way more in the past year than ever before... Of kids getting the bright idea to walk into a school/college/mall and blast the fuck out of everyone is disturbing. And yeah a lot of people keep talking about it but no one seems to be coming up with any answers. The other thing is that people keep demonizing the kids that are doing it and no one is even bothering to look at the underlying physcology that has to be there. No one is trying to figure out why it happened and how to keep it from happening again, with anything more bright than fucking retarded gun laws.
Aside on gun law: I don't care if you agree with me or not, the simple facts are that if you make it a crime to have a gun the only people who will have them are the people who don't mind breaking the fucking law in the first place. Gun laws are retarded. Mobsters like gun laws. But kennesaw is the only place that can bost of a doubling in population in the past 25 years, but no significant increase in crime... Kennesaw is the only city that mandates if you owen property inside the city limits you must own a gun. end gun rant.
You have to get to people before they have thier hand on the trigger!
I'm sick of looking at the news and thinking oh well what a shame... it's ridiculous.
I'm tired of going through life thinking that what the world really and truly needs is a mass global scale population reduction. I know that would solve a great deal of problems, but fucking hell has it really come to that? I feel like reading history books people work just like the economy if there isn't a correction every october things get really fucked. We only had our last great war 60 years ago... do we really need a population correction already?
