garden excitment.
Feb. 10th, 2009 06:06 amwow. Itls probably the weather tho I must admit that the fever beegain to trickle in before it started getting warm and now I can barely contain myself. all I seem to think about are bee's and chickens and veggies.
i was somewhat sad to learn the economicly it doesn't maje since to keep a laying hen past two years. I had thought they were productive for much longer. I am not sure I can kill a hen I have raised for two years but I also know that affording to feed a non-laying hen isn't likely either and it makes me rething the chickens thing.
I am very much hoping I can get a friend to construct some top bar kenyen hives for me pretty soon so I can go ahead and start them this year. I simply can't wait to have my little honey producing girls living with me.
I was perusing the seends of change website today and I have been trying to make some tentitive plans for my garden. I got out and worked somew ammendments in this weekend, and while I am sore as can be from it I love it.
Hurry up spring! or maybe not I still have soooo much to do.
