Okay so here's an update on the EcoVogue situation:

I've taken everythign off the site that I don't have currently in stock. While this makes the site look a little bare and the selection minimal... I can't have orderes coming in for stuff I don't have... I just don't have the money to make the orders.

I have a good friend who has said that he will be happy to help me try and build a website that I can integrate tha paypal buttons on. This will save me a great deal of money in the long run, and the short run. But he's got a very limmited time to work on it so it may take a while. This ends my problem with the CC processing company, and with paying for the templet program I'm using now.

I am considering going around and getting booths at local festivals. The overhead would be relativly cheap: cost of the festivals, a one time expeince for a cash register, hangers and stands for some of the items, and maybe a banner witht he logo on it. I think I could make some decent money doing this. I'd love to have a booth at pride but the cost of that is $800 + 200 if I need electricity for the cash machine.

and yes I've thought of doing the cashbox thing, but it's a very messy way of doing business. with taxes and stuff I need more accuret records then the handwritten recietp book that I can forget to write the reciept in and a calculator that willv ery easily let me forget to add tax. I think the investment for a cheap cash register is a good idea...

Anyone got any tips or ideas?
