productive... er maybe

transpaoI feel productive... it's probably a little unfounded as I didn't really atain the goals I had set out to but I did get up and try and I got some other neat stuff instead.
I stopped at the goodwill store down the street from my house. I WAS going in to find neat fabrics that I could cut up and make new thigns out of. I have figured out that legs of pants make great tube pillows, and fabric is cheaper if you get it from old clothes. HOWEVER, what I came OUT with was a new dress two skirts and a pair of pants. :D all for $7.31 they were having a half price sale on clothes... woot! I found some pretty silk shirts that would have made faboo eye-pillows, but I'm to nervous about ruining them because I've never sewn silk before. But the clothes I got are really great oen is a bannana republic simple black dress in great condition. The other is a silk black skirt with silver trim and little rinestones speckled over it. The I got a velvet skirt that fits the best of everything I got It flatters my hips perfectly and manages to be a short skirt that doesn't make me look short :O The pants were great too I haven't decied yet if they need to eb hemmed and in or not they seem ever so slightly too long but I'm not sure how worth the hemming it is. They lace up the side at the waist for closure... and did I mention they fit me perfect and accent all the right features... woot! so many good finds! and I haven't had fun new clothes in a while I was starting to feel really drab.
After my trip to the thrift store I decided I'd go get buckwheat hulls to make pillows with from wholefoods. See I called the other day because I didn't really think they would ahve them, but they told me they did. They don't! They have buckwheat groats, but no hulls.*pout* I'll have to order them online... I figured I would anyway. I did get som cereal bars and found out that they are now selling the seventh generation diapers at wholefoods, which totally rocks! They ahve another brand too that promotes it-self as all cotton with no gel. I didn't realise that diapers had any sort of gel in them... but it's great that people can get them now from wholefoods and not have to pay shipping and order on-line.
oh and before those two I went and got a color cartridge so my printer will work again... damn thing shuts off and wont friggin print if both the black and the color cartrages aren't okay. I mean if I was printing soemthing in color I could see the problem of not havign a full color cartrige but printing type... comeone... anywho it's taken care of.
