Pratchett Quote
Apr. 16th, 2007 10:02 amToday I've got a Pratchett quote rolling around in my head. Maybe it's important, maybe not, but thought I'd share.
From Men at Arms:
(when Vimes asks Carrot if Dr. Cruss killing Angua means anything to him)
"Carrot Nodded. 'Yes. But personal isn't the same as important.'" (page 354 in the paperback)
Vimes "Personal isn't the same as important. What sort of person could think like that? And it dawned on him that while Ankh in the past had had it's share of evil rulers, and simply bad rulers,it had never yet come under the heel of a good ruler. That might be the most terrifying prospect of all."
(page 361)
