The minutes keep ticking by I can't quite figure out what it is that's making me stall on work tonight. I worked for about a half hour earlier but I flipped out craving food so I went to the Kroger and brought back the strange burrito mix-ins I reported on in the recipe post. I've stuffed myself silly and I still have the urge to eat. I keep trying to remind myself that I'm already larger than I want to be, but still I'm mentally dying to down a bag of popcorn covered in movie theater butter and sugar.

Now I'm just wondering on the net. I know I need to get to work but I dunno.

I had such a great weekend I'm try really hard to focus on how wonderful my weekend went and totally forget what tomorrow is. All weekend I managed not to think about it, but today I opened my almanac an it hit my like a ton of bricks. "Oh shit, tomorrow is the 12th!"

Maybe a recap of the weekend will remind me why I should focus on yesterday and not tomorrow! (*laughs* ironic that it's usually the other way around for me)

Well Friday I had plans to meet up with a lady I met on... er we'll just say it was a dating website. I ended up over sleeping and not getting up until noon... major bummer I had sooo much planned before I was supposed to meet G. So I chunked most everything, but one look in the mirror told me I couldn't forgo calling up Natasha from Three13 and getting something done about the mess on my head. I had not had a hair cut since before my birthday, october 16th. So I got my hair done and started feeling somewhat sexy again. yay!

I called G, and luckily she was running late too so we moved the time an hour and a half, but met up at 8:30 for dinner at the Kennesaw O'charlys. She was really great and definitely someone new and cool to hang with. I wish I had a little more clarity on whether or not it was supposed to be a date, but I wussed out and didn't ask. So I'll have to clarify that some other time. Either way it was cool, and I invited her on the hiking trip with me the next morning and she said she'd love to go.

Well I get up at 6am on Sat. I get ready and at 7 call G. I didn't get an answer, so I start driving towards her place to pick her up and keep calling. Finally when I got to 575 I called her one last time, but still no answer So I had to go without her. I was rather disappointed, but hadn't really expected her to come due to how early we needed to set off.

So I mad my way over to the ABC to meet up with everyone. It was a wonderful group that day, and the hike was really really wonderful. I'll upload some other pictures but here's a great one Kamatsu got of me

G sent me a text during the hike,It turns out she got sick in the middle of the night, and was in no condition to go hiking with me. Which was a bummer, and I totally hope she gets to feeling better. Maybe I'll invite her out next weekend what do you think?

On Sunday I got up at 8:30 with a migraine, but took a Max-alt and went back to bed. Then didn't wake again until 3:15 eeeep! I was supposed to meet Caroline and Kristin at 4. Thankfully I had a message from Kristin saying she needed some more time So we ended up saying 5:30pm. Had lots of fun chatting with Kristin and Caroline about everything from crochet to politics and then some. Kristine let me borrow one of her Crochet books and I'm super excited about it, but I have to give it back to her one of the other girls that used to come to coffee stole a bunch of her books and Kristine would kill me if I ran off with this one. But talking was so much fun that 8:30 the designated leaving time came and went and we were still gabbing. It was 9:45 before we all piled into our cars and headed our separate ways.
