What a weekend

transpaoSo Stephen came down for the weekend.
We did lots of physics homework Saturday night. Which I have to say I am glad I like my lab partner so much. It makes spending an entire Saturday evening doing Physics ever so much more enjoyable.
We got our physics done so we had today free. I didn't have to do the mom thing 'cause I saw mom yesterday and she went back up to TN so Stephen and I went for a hike at Sweetwater state park.
We hiked the Red and White trails. Which the trail pamphlet says the red trail is only half a mile and I don't believe it, mainly because the red trail is nearly as long as the blue trail and the blue trail is 2 miles. But anyway we hiked at least 3.5 miles and probably more than that.
I got to see some wildlife which was really cool. Most of my winter hiking has been void of any animal life so it was really one of those "Wow it's spring!" kinda things. I saw a neat lizard that I didn't get a picture of that was brown with a white stripe on its back. We some several turtles sunning on a log with a duck in the river, but the coolest of all was the spiffy snake! All I had was my phone came so the pic isn't great, but...
We think it is a juvinal timber rattler, from what we've looked up online.
And totally random, because I uploaded it tonight and had forgoten I'd taken it... a blurry photo from the Voltaire show.
