wallet woes and public transit
Aug. 4th, 2008 08:19 pmOkay so one very big problem with riding a coach bus to work is that if your wallet gets stolen and you have no cash and no marta card you are stuck 30 miles from home.
A very very sweet women that is a supervisor with the GA tech trolley company gave my $5 when I told her about my wallet and not being able to get home, which was just enough with my .50 to get me back to Hiram.
I dunno what to do though it's ANOTHER $30 to purchase a new Buzz card just so I can clock in tomorrow, and I'll be late getting started which will fuck my whole day up. And it will probably show as yet another black mark on my time record.
Why is there such a streak of bad luck on me what did I do to deserve this?
The only good news is that whoever has my wallet hasn't tried to purchase anything with my credit card or bank card.
Maybe a good Samaritan has it and just hasn't turned it in yet? It would be so nice, but it wont help with the $30 buzz card unless they turn it in by tomorrow morning before like 6:30am.
