mom's getting married

Okay so I probably should have mentioned this a couple weeks ago when I found out, but I didn't. Probably the reason why is that I was totally shocked. She hadn't even told me she was sating anyone.

Apparently she met him in May... of this year.

The Wedding is Nov 2nd.

I just hope she's happy.

He's a decent guy from the one time I met him. Says he really cares about her.

Anyway the real reason for this post is that she wants me to be in the wedding. and has asked me to pick out a dress from Davids Bridal in Fern. She didn't choose a style in hopes I could wear the dress again. I'd feel a whole lot better if I thought that would be possible too. The only thing is that I don't wear a whole lot of Dresses and when I do they usually aren't in fern.

I dunno what do ya'll think. and try real hard thinking of me... with my hair... in one of these dresses.

Not knowing your body shape too well it's hard for me to say. This is why we just said chose a red dress that you like. My Squirrel wanted red due to it's importance in many Asian cultures. Maybe that's why she picked the apartment with the red wall.

Anyway. I like Style F13095 and Style 81441 for their sort of ancient Greek feel. Style 83256 has the classy Audrey Hepburn thing going on. Style F12723 you maybe get away with wearing again. But really it's a bridesmaid dress. Most people never wear them again.

thanks for the reply. HAHA you totally showed me something I thought there were only 12 dresses in fern but I kept looking for all the numbers and I realized I was being dense :) So thanks.

I'm pretty much an hour glass figure, but a little wonky because I've got scoliosis. I'm 5'2 in stocking feet. I usually wear a medium... measurements are
Bust 37"
Waist 30"
Hips 39"

But I was doing the measuring myself and that could be a off a little.

I liked styles F13095, 83256, F12284, F13062 But I'm just afraid soemthing to soft will look weird with my very er... striking hair. Even if I don't spike it and let it sorta flop over it's so disconnected and choppy it makes some dresses look off.

Me and the wife both think F13095 will suit suit both your shape and the hair, even spiked. The semi Greek styling works with that well. I'd go to the store and try it on if you can. Get a feel for it.

It was the perfect one for me, but it turns out they can't get it in my size in fern before the wedding. So my mom sadi I could get it in purple because that would mach her dress too. but then before I went back to get it she called and told em they had a dress for 1/5 the price at Ross that was sorta ok. So I went to Ross and got the other dress. I kind of regret it now because I don't really like the other dress as much but I did save time, money, and gas so it was really difficult to rationalize getting the more expensive one.

No it's not that I LOVE my hair, it's just that some dresses especially really soft looks end up looking sorta strange with my hair.

thanks, that was the one I liked the most too. I think that was pretty much everyones choice. But it turned out that they didn't have it in my size and couldn't get it in time for the wedding. So mom said I could get it in Purple, but then said there were dresses that were ok at Ross for like 1/5 the price so I went and bought one of those. I kinda regret not getting the one from Davids Bridal but when given a choice between getting one 1/5 the price and not having to drive 30mins to Kennesaw or getting one I liked less I chose the cheaper one.
