So I woke up this morning feeling as if I had backpacked miles in my sleep last night. I really can't explain this. I didn't work any harder or strenuously yesterday than normal. I felt exhausted after work but mostly I think that was a mental thing.
I can't remember a thing about what I dreamt. I know I've had night terrors before as past partners have often woken me up saying I was thrashing, and screaming in my sleep. this could be it but the covers and things don't really look any more rumpled than normal. I know the house is warm so it wasn't a matter of shivering.
*shrug* it's just odd is all.
I purchased a book yesterday titled "Happiness". It's written by a Buddhist monk. I have often found that buddhist teachings quite relavent so I am hoping it will bring me some insights. I had been hoping to purchase another book when I went into the store but I think it has been sold. if I can find it online with a vague idea of what it was called perhaps I shall get it too.

Date: 2009-01-23 03:07 am (UTC)I left it on the bus this afternoon... D'oh. I got several chapters in and so far I am liking it. There have only been a a couple of things I haven't heard before, but I am enjoying the way it is presented. The guy was a scientist before he ran off to Tibet, so he actually explains his rational rather than simply expecting you to take his word for it. Since I was using my bus pass as a bookmark I will probably drive to work tomorrow and hopefully be able to get to the CCT office in Marietta before they close.
How are you doing I haven't seen you post if a few days?
