stuff and things
Jan. 24th, 2009 12:37 pmSo yesterday started out pretty bad. I woke up with a migraine, but I had to drive into work because I had left my book with my bus card as the bookmark on the bus the day before. I had made the plan that I would drive in and this should allow me enough time to drive over to Marietta to the CCT office before they closed for the afternoon, but driving is such a pin with a migraine. I took a new migraine med that was supposed to not make me drowsy, and I can't say it made me drowsy so much as made me somewhat drunk feeling. Talk about fun! The med didn't really take away the migraine either. it probably took the edge off but that was about it.
I got to work pretty much miserable and depressed. I went out and started my morning trash route. I was in the process of blowing off the sidewalks on 5th street when a GA Tech Student to sometimes rides my bus approached me. He had picked my book of for me and brought it to me!!! Oh I can't tel you how elated I was. I thanked him over and over again. I walked away with the best feeling about the world... knowing there are still kind people in it. Now I just have to figure out how to really thank him...
I woke up today and was going to try to o to the Sat EA meeting. That kinda fell through as I can't find my wallet. and was running late anyway. So now I am trying to figure out what to do with myself. I'd like to do something productive... I'd like to do something social... I'm also thinking my poor garden really does need some work...
I am thinking of going to the pagan meetup tomorrow in Austell... I don't want to go alone, but I really do need to get out more and meet some new people... Just wish I had someone that wanted to go with me.
I know some of you are familiar with Craigslist. I've been thinking of posting a roommate ad on there... I'm nervous about it though. Any Advice? I'm really hoping to find someone I'll get along with not just someone that will pay... I mean that is important don't get me wrong but I'd really like someone that is either interested in gardening, hiking or goth or something ya know. I dunno I was thinking something along the lines of...
Seeking a roommate to share 3 bedroom 2 bath ranch style home in Dallas, GA. Quiet neighborhood, big yard, and garden. 3rd bedroom is used as a craft studio/office. The room is currently furnished if you'd like to use furnishings the rent will be flat $350 monthly or non-furnished $300. Persons interested in gardening, hiking, crafting, or Gothic culture a big bonus.
I dunno soemthing like that maybe. With a phot of the house and room? or is that a bad idea?
BTW
