So today has this far been a hectic blur of bad. First I over slept... It seems that in a certain shallow sleep and not quite awake I can rationalize anything. The snooze button was just so close to my head. So while I had planed to get up at 6:30 So that I could make it over to sixflags drive pick up my keys and get home before dad needed to leave, I woke up with dad yelling at me at 7:20.I figured I could make it to SFD in 30 minutes so I through on clothes and headed out. I was doing fine until I got to the office parks and got totally lost because the night before I wrote the directions in an IM because I didn't have a pen handy and wondered away from my comp... so it shut down closing the IM. I turned around and headed home without my keys. So I'm flying back and doing pretty well until I get about a mile from my house where someone had driven their car off the road and into a tree so they had a tow truck blocking both lanes of traffic. Well that didn't take to long as I drove off the road and went around it. However dad was pissed because he was late and was pitching a fit.
So dad leaves and I am trying desperately to find a locksmith that will make a key for my ignition... I call three places... two of them wont answer there phones and the third wants $75 for it. I only have 60 cash. So I write my first prof and let her know the situation. Now I'm missing the review for accounting, and my final is on Thursday.
However on the upside, is that my next class isn't until five so I have a friend that gets off work at 2 and will be able to get me to sixflags dr. before the guy leaves work so I can grab my keys, and hopefully make it to my econ and bizlaw reviews.
In other good news the USPS click and ship is finally working on my computers which means less trips to the post office. woot! So I have one package that is heading out from my mail box today. Yippie!
In other business knews... My credit card processing company is pissing me off to no end. They put a hold on my account (because of their mistake) and didn't bother to notify my about it. So I am sitting here a week after 4 orders have gone through my site still waiting on funds to my transfered to my account. I got the hold taken off yesterday but I wont see the money until tomorrow. This puts me in a really crummy spot as I have to have that money deposited into my account before I can order the items I need from my suppliers. This puts me on a really crummy time schedule!
The second issue that I am having is this one lady that made a very large order from my site for her wedding party wrote me and was upset because she didn't realize that it would take so long to process her order. I was trying so hard to not loose the sale that I spoke prematurely and told her she would have her stuff by may 7th. Well that shouldn't have been a problem, but the manufacture then lets me know that 70% of her order they don't even have in stock! it will be the first week of may (most likely the end of the week) before they get it then they have to ship it to me. So now I've made this stupid promise to this lady that I can't keep. I wrote her an e-mail explaining the situation and apologizing profusely. I offered to overnight everything and swallow the cost. *shakes head* I have bent over backwards for this one sale and it's driving me crazy. I gave her a 5% discount on the items because it was a big order... I already discount everything on my site nearly 25% so I am getting maybe 20% profit on this order of which a large chunk will now go to overnighting this shit.
arrg! will someone shoot me with a tranq dart already!?!
