Ploting

My brain has been on overdrive.

I've decided that I have to stop selling EccoBella cosmetics. Part of me is really pretty bummed about it, but another part of me is glad to see it go. The reason I have to let them go is that they make a huge fuss about "Made in America" it's on the outside of all their packaging, BUT yesterday I noticed that when you pull the duo-compact out of it's cardbored packaging (that has made in the usa writen on it) there is a lovely little "Made in China" sticker on the back. And I find this unethical as well as having a problem with products made in less than reputable locations.

So with that I've started reserching how to create my own personal care products. I think this will be a good thing for me. I'll only have to make stuff when it's ordered so I wont have a shit ton of stock on shelves and things hoping it doesn't go bad. I can set a decent price. and it'll give me something creative to do.

I'm trying to plot a vaction. I've got a free plane ticket to anywhere in the "lower" 48 states via delta. so I'm buzzing around on hotel sites and shit dreaming up what trouble I can get into on spring break.

I took an herbal bath tonight, with a touch of almond and aprocot kernal oil, and milk... I feel so soft and lovely.

Well, you can always come south and visit here. Not as exciting as Hotlanta, but better than Mableton. :)

and Aubrey Organics is made in Tampa. I personally don't like some of their stuff for texture and smell, though they do work. I am too picky and loads of people like them.

I'm not really sure which is a large part of what bothers me. But I think that it's the cosmetics and such that are created here in the states and it's cases that you buy or that the powder comes in.
this (http://i.b5z.net/i/u/1483029/i/duocompact.jpg) and this (http://i.b5z.net/i/u/1483029/i/facepowder_moreinfo.jpg)

The thing that bugs me the most is that I have no idea what they are selling that is made in the US and what of it isn't. very bothersome.

hmm... have you thought about questioning them about it, or is it just easier to go with another company?

I thought about asking them... but it seems like a waste. I dunno. I might still continue selling their lotion or soemthign once I talk with them, but I've been thinking of culling down the products I offer for right now, and making my own stuff sounds fun anyway.
