Okay so like wow... I'm so glad I adopted this family. I talked to the mom, and she is so sweet. She thanked me over and over again. She told me that last sumer on of the kids was attacked by a dog and then this fall one of them was diagnosed with a heart murmer, and to top it all off the shop that the father works at is closing. Oh and the thing that botherd me the most is that one of the kids is getting made fun of at school because he wears the same clothes all the time... My little heart is all heavy...
I'm really excited though, because I went through a bunch of my e-bay and goodwill stuff that I haven't taken yet. I found several things tht I think they will really like. It's really rather pathetic most of the stuff around here is good stuff, we just tend to get tired of it before it gets even slightly worn.
In the box already:
3 beanie hats
2 ear muffler head band thingies
2 scarves I crochetted.
1 sample pack of cleaning solution.
1 sweater
1 red t-shirt
1 1x blue jean shirt
1 bookbag
Some wrapping stuff
Things I plan on adding:
at least two more scarves
one lavander bath basket w/ bath oil and bath salt and soap
One mint basket with mint soap, mint candle, and mint lip balm
one more beanie hat
one maybe two hacky sacks
a copy of the book Re/Uses
a hemp hooded sweater
I'm thinking of getting the girl a sweater or shirt or something too if I have the money... or I an find soemthing around here that will fit her.
I'm so excited... anyone have any suggestions?
